GIVING TREE TO GIVE BACK TO COMMUNITY
AT BAYFAIR CENTER

SAN LEANDRO, CA (November 7, 2005) Starting Friday, November 25, Bayfair Center and the Salvation Army will help Alameda County get into the holiday spirit. Offering the chance to fulfill the holiday wishes of less fortunate children, the Salvation Army and Bayfair Center will erect a Giving Tree between Macy´s and Kohl´s.

The Giving Tree will be trimmed with tags featuring the name and age of a child in need of a holiday gift. Community members are encouraged to pick up a tag and return a new, unwrapped gift to one of the collection bins around the tree by Friday, December 16. After the toys are collected, the Salvation Army will distribute the gifts along with food baskets to families in the community.
