Librarians Reading Stories, Cookies, and More
SAN LEANDRO, CA -- (June 20, 2005) Local libraries and Bayfair Center’s Mrs. Fields have joined forces to host free story time reading sessions for local children throughout the summer months. Ideal for three to seven year olds, each story time session will feature book readings by a local librarian, an arts & crafts activity or magic show, and complimentary cookies from Mrs. Fields.
The Story Time by Mrs. Fields reading sessions will take place the last Saturday of each month:
Saturday, June 25, at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 30, at 11 a.m.
Saturday, August 27, at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 24, at 11 a.m.
"This summer is all about celebrating our dedication to the local community and what better way than by partnering with the local libraries to host a summer story time reading program," said Bayfair Center’s General Manager Lydia Kingsbury. "Parents and children are invited down to hear the stories in a safe, comfortable atmosphere. This is just one of the many ways we like to give back to our community, the community we have been a part of for nearly 50 years."
Bayfair’s Story Time readings will take place in the seating area between Fresh Choice and Macy’s and is just one of the family-friendly summer activities taking place as part of Bayfair’s summer long celebration.
